A damaged section of a wall in a 425th Air Base Squadron team member’s home in the aftermath of a 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Izmir, Turkey, Nov. 2, 2020. While many affected buildings remain structurally sound, the superficial damage was sufficient to render them uninhabitable, forcing residents to find temporary lodgings and even more to find new homes entirely.
