Build-a-boat competitors, Staff Sgt. Martin Wallace and Airman 1st Class Christopher Jenkins, both from the 39th Contracting Squadron, re-enforce an end on their team’s home-made boat, Thursday, May 21, 2009. Teams were given four pieces of cardboard and two rolls of duct tape to build the best sea-worthy boat possible before the event. Five teams competed and prizes were awarded for fasted boat, best decoration and first boat to sink. Airman 1st Class Kurt Fisher, 39th Communications Squadron, and the rest of the United States Air Forces in Europe team at the Air Force Marathon at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, Sept. 20.
