Office is closed for all official Federal Holidays, and the 3rd Wednesday of every month for training.

Customers that have an upcoming PCS, separation, retirement, TDY/Deployment or COT leave travel authorization can contact our office to schedule travel. IAW DTR 4500.9-R Order of Precedence for Travel, TO/TMC must utilize U.S. Transportation Command’s (USTRANSCOM) contracted airlift (e.g., Patriot Express (PE) channel airlift) unless there is a documented negative mission impact. We can view and reserve available PE flights as far as 90 days out for the date of departure. Orders are not required to reserve an itinerary; however, orders are required to purchase tickets for official travel. If you are unable to use PE due to negative mission impact, please contact our office for a mission impact statement.

To begin your travel inquiry, PCS and TDY, please utilize the following forms. Once completed, send it to our organization email at 39LRS.TMO.PAX@US.AF.MIL. Members that will be taking leave in conjunction with official travel (TDY) must fill out a Leave in Conjunction with Official Travel (LICWO) Policy letter before self-procuring leisure travel.

If you are planning to deviate from your authorized route for PCS, Separation, or Retirement, a circuitous travel memorandum will need to be completed. Fill out the information required then send it to our organizational email 39LRS.TMO.PAX@US.AF.MIL so we can give you a quote. Memorandum will need to be given to MPF to amend orders. If you are planning to use circuitous travel for COT leave, you will need to get with your CSS to get a COT worksheet.

Members that want to use an alternate carrier that is not a U.S. Flag Carrier must fill out the Non-U.S. Flag Ship memorandum and have it amended on their orders prior to departure.

Pet Travel

Due to the inability of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to assign a veterinarian to Incirlik Air Base in compliance with regulations, the Turkish Customs Office has officially prohibited the entry of pets via Air Mobility Command (AMC) flights.

If traveling with a pet, members will have to complete a mission impact statement to request commercial flights. Members pet may be authorized reimbursement for transoceanic travel, use of Government or Government procured transportation.

FAQs

Am I allowed to book my own travel for PCS or TDY? Booking your own travel for PCS or TDY is generally not permitted. The Authorizing/Order-Issuing Official (AO) must approve self-booked travel, adhering to DoD and Air Force travel regulations.

Can I select my preferred mode of transportation while traveling on orders? Your mode of transportation while on orders must adhere to the DTR TMO's established order of precedence. Therefore, you may not always have free choice in how you fly.

What do I do if my travel is delayed or cancelled? Who should I contact? Contact the number for 24/7 SATO assistance located on the bottom of your itinerary.      

What if I don’t want to fly to my HOR for COT leave? It should be annotated on your COT worksheet.

Patriot Express (PE) Sunset

Incirlik AB – Adana (ADA) to Baltimore IAP (BWI)

Effective Sept. 30 2025, this Patriot Express channel will sunset. Passengers will be routed to the nearest commercial airport IAW DTR Part 1 Appendix O.
