  • 39th ABW commander visits Izmir

    Col. Jason Gingrich, 39th Air Base Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Scott Shrier, 39th ABW command chief, visited the 425th Air Base Squadron at Izmir from Nov. 14 to Nov. 16, as part of their visit to geographically separated units in Izmir and Ankara to interact with the Airmen and to see things firsthand.
  • Acıbadem and Medline hospital partners visit Incirlik Air Base

    Thirty Turkish medical staff members from Acıbadem and Medline hospitals in Adana participated in a base tour of Incirlik Air Base Oct. 25, 2021. This was the first base tour offered to local community members in over 10 years and provided visitors an opportunity to learn how they directly enable the 39th Air Base Wing’s mission.

  • Incirlik hosts National Suicide Awareness Month stortyteller event

    Incirlik Air Base hosted a storytelling event to raise awareness and promote resources which focus efforts on directing treatment to those who need it most. Base members had the opportunity to hear from two base members who have overcome mental and resilience challenges thanks to the support of their family, wingmen, and all those around them.
  • Incirlik Air Base ACE program reaches one-year milestone

    The 39th Air Base Wing recently reached the one-year mark with its Agile Combat Employment training program, Aug. 28, 2021.  Incilrlik Air Base started its ACE program last year as part of the Air Force initiative to develop and maintain a lean force of multi-capable Airmen, ensuring a fast, efficient response to evolving threats.

  • 13.1 miles to celebrate 71 years

    Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, hosted a half marathon on Sept. 22, 2018, in celebration of the U.S. Air Force’s 71st birthday on Sept. 18. The marathon had over 60 participants that included U.S., Turkish and Spanish members, who completed a total of 13.1 miles.
