The 39th Air Base Wing command team visit the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Mausoleum during a recent immersion with the 717th Air Base Squadron in Ankara, Turkey, Sept. 8, 2021. The 717th ABS offers administrative, personnel and educational support to Department of Defense and U.S. Embassy personnel to support their seamless transition to life in Turkey. The command team’s visit was part of a series of immersion tours to show him how each unit supports the 39th ABW and U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa.
