Akdogan (left), 39th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, rings a ceremonial bell during a flag folding ceremony at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, Sept. 11, 2021, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States. The bell is a symbol for firefighters who have passed away, signaling their final call of duty.
