The interior components of a bolt carrier group for an M-4 carbine rifle lay on the ground during an Ability to Survive and Operate Rodeo at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, Dec. 3, 2018. The three-day ATSO Rodeo provided Airmen with refresher training, containing lessons in explosive ordnance reconnaissance, weapons familiarization, Self Aid Buddy Care and personal protective equipment skills. The training also tested the skills and readiness of each member to prepare them for potential real-world operations. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Kirby Turbak)
