Eight ‘Dirt Boys’ from the 435th Construction Training Squadron and 786th Civil Engineer Squadron are currently deployed to Diyarbakir Air Base, Turkey in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Their mission is to build a ‘bare base’ to support the follow-on forces that will be utilizing this area for personnel recovery operations in Syria and Iraq.
