USAFE-AFAFRICA commander visits Airmen in Turkey

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey – The U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa commander Gen. Frank Gorenc, addresses Airmen during a commander’s call on Incirlik Air Base on Feb. 4, 2014. The general traveled to Incirlik Air Base and other U.S. military units across Turkey to visit service members and to see firsthand their role in current NATO and USAFE-AFAFRICA operations. He also spoke to Airmen and their spouses about overall morale and welfare topics and shared the significance of the USAFE-AFAFRICA motto: “Forward, Ready, Now” as well as the “Step Up, Step In” campaign.
