2012 brings first casualty-free Paddy’s Day

A leprechaun helps a fellow friend narrowly escape capture on St. Patrick's Day at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. Human children, with the assistance of parents or teachers, build traps in early March in hopes of capturing a leprechaun, a mischievous creature many believe is fictional. This is the first year since records were first kept that leprechauns had a casualty-free St. Paddy's Day. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Michael B. Keller/Released)
