Traveling Turkey: Taursus

A restaurant sits above the Berdan River waterfall Nov. 14, 2012, in Tarsus, Turkey. The waterfall came as a result of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian changing the course of the river. With a history dating back more than 5,000 years, Tarsus has been an important stop for traders and a focal point for many civilizations including the Roman Empire.
