Incirlik SNCO receives Bronze Star
Col. Phil McDaniel, 39th Air Base Wing commander, presents Master Sgt. Krisah Herron with a Bronze Star. Sergeant Herron earned a Bronze Star as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team leader, 447th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Alpha Flight, Multi-National Force-Iraq, Baghdad. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, Sergeant Herron responded to 37 emergencies in a 919 square-kilometer area of operation including 10 improvised explosive devices, 11 weapons caches and three unexploded ordnances.
