Marriage Retreat
To enable married couples stationed at Incirlik Air Base to build spiritual resiliency, the 39th Air Base Wing Chapel hosted a Marriage Care Retreat at a beach getaway June 26-28, 2015. As part of the retreat, the chapel staff hosted a series of group activities, lessons and videos aimed at teaching the couples how to communicate and express their feelings towards one another. Voltage
In July of 2010, the Turkish Electricity Transmission Company began to convert power stations across Turkey from a 66,000 volt power grid to a 31,500 volt system. On June 21, 2015, Incirlik Air Base finished transferring to the new power system. (Courtesy photo)

Community Center
Due to the partnership and hard work of the 10th Tanker Base Command and 39th Air Base Wing, the new state-of-the-art Base Community Center is scheduled to open in the near future. The new center will have the same services and amenities the old center, along with a new 350-seat capacity theater with a digital movie theater system, the base education office with two colleges and the base library. Incirlik’s no hat, no salute areas
As of June, the 39th Air Base Wing commander, Col. Craig Wills, updated the Incirlik Air Base supplement to include additional no hat, no salute areas for service members. The areas on Incirlik that are authorized for no hat, no salute areas are flight line areas, the 39th Operations Squadron pavilion, which is immediately adjacent to the flight line and the Chapel Meditation Area. Community Center

The Incirlik National Test Center offers testing on Monday (Speech, part two only) from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Thursday at 12 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. DSST is now offering a limited time cost savings for eligible service members who would like to retake their exam as a self-funder.
