3rd AF Commander visits Incirlik
Lt. Gen. Frank Gorenc, 3rd Air Force commander, left, presents the Bronze Star to Col. Chris Craige, 39th Air Base Wing commander, Nov. 23, 2011, at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. Craige was awarded the Bronze Star and the Air Medal during Gorenc's visit to Incirlik to meet with Airmen and observe the mission first hand. Craige received the Bronze Star for his leadership roles as vice commander of the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing, Joint Base Balad, Iraq, and as a key leader in supporting operations for the Army's largest sustainment distribution center in Iraq. He received the Air Medal as an MC-12W Liberty mission pilot for the 362nd Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron in support of Operation New Dawn.
