Congratulations to U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Toni Turner, 39th Security Forces Squadron base defense operations center controller, for winning the deployed Larger Than Life Award at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, Dec. 10, 2018. Turner, deployed from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, was selected as the award winner for the time she dedicated as her unit’s career development course monitor, maintaining a 100 percent CDC end of course pass rate for her flight. Congratulations to U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Joseph Keegan, 39th Maintenance Squadron personnel reliability program monitor, for winning the Larger Than Life Award at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, Dec. 10, 2018. Keegan received the award for the dedication and work he provides, such as reviewing 300 personnel documents and finding 15 discrepancies. School supplies foster community support
A teacher at Necmiye CoskunTuncel Ilkokulu Primary School receives backpacks and other school supplies for local Turkish students before the first day of school in Adana, Turkey. Approximately $1,500 was raised for the supplies by U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Jordan Walker and Airman 1st Class Valtrice Sullivan, 39th Security Forces Squadron contingency members, as a way to give back to the local community.
