In the Star Wars movie, The Empire Strikes Back, Yoda, the Jedi Knight teacher, tries to implant into Luke Skywalker the means of engaging the "force" that is the greatest power in the universe. He says to his pupil, "Luke, do, or do not ... there is no try."

In our business there is no try or almost ... there is only do and perfect ... we are in a zero/one business which demands perfection and we are ready to show the U.S. Air Forces in Europe inspection team what we can do!

We are ready because we think like winners, have prepared like winners, and perform like winners. We are ready because we have set high goals, worked toward those goals with determination and persistence, and haven't stopped until we reached those goals. We are ready because we have made total commitment our constant companion.

We are ready because we have avoided the tempting shortcuts and unhealthy habits that could result in defeat. We are ready because we have confidence in ourselves and a high regard for our teammates. We are ready because we persevere in the midst of obstacles.

We are ready because we are warriors entrusted with the awesome guardianship of our military's most powerful capability.

Gen. George S. Patton encouraged his Soldiers to "accept the challenges, so that you may feel the exhilaration of victory." We are Airmen, Warriors, and Knights committed to excellence in everything we do, committed to integrity in all things, committed to service to our country, committed to ensuring freedom's future, committed to doing it perfectly.

Knights, Warriors, and Airmen believe they are winners because they believe they are Knights, Warriors, and Airmen right down to the smallest detail. Let's show them what we can do ... we are Knights, Warriors, and Airmen!
