I couldn’t be more proud Published Nov. 9, 2009 By Col. Eric Beene 39th Air Base Wing commander INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- I could not be more proud to be leading this team! I wish I could name every reason why, but that would take all day. So let me just say during the past few months, Team Incirlik has done a superb job demonstrating its dedication to excellence. Every Airman has contributed countless hours to making our mission run as close to perfect as possible, and I could not be more proud of every one of you. The countless hours invested to ensure Incirlik is in compliance and upholding the Air Force standards have not gone unnoticed. I have seen the unwavering dedication our security forces and maintainers have poured into their duties. I have seen the fierce determination the medical group Airmen have brought to their duties. From communicators to logisticians, from our first responders to those who help us take care of our families, we have all stepped up to make sure we demonstrate excellence in all we do. These are but a few groups of professionals who have gone above and beyond and deserve recognition. The entire Incirlik team has surpassed their daily duties and put in the extra effort and it shows in the results. Enjoy your accomplishments and the time off work during Sports Day, because you all deserve it. Everyone here at Team Incirlik has remained fit, focused and fighting for what is right, and I ask that you continue that dedication in your daily routine.
