Incirlik's Enlisted Lounge closed for upgrades Published July 24, 2013 By Staff Sgt. Eric Summers Jr. 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- The enlisted lounge, located inside the club complex, is currently going through renovations that will last until September. Incirlik's Enlisted Lounge, a place for enlisted members on base to gather socially, will be closed until the refurbishing is complete. The changes were made to bring the enlisted facility up-to-date and replace worn-out items. "The renovations were customer driven and customer designed," said Ernie Fasoldt, Incirlik Club Complex manager. "We went to the command chief and asked if she could put together a team of Airmen who use the facility, which brought a lot of great ideas." The 10 Airmen team put their heads together to design a lounge that would be tailored towards the customer and increase morale. "Any time you give folks a more comfortable place to come and relax it increases morale," Fasoldt said. Though the renovated enlisted lounge is set to open in September, Fasoldt said they are still open to ideas to improve the club and activities. "We are truly hyper-customer centered," Fasoldt exclaimed. "We want ideas and feedback. Just throw the ideas at me, and we will try to make them happen."
