Capt. Ian Duggan, 39th Air Base Wing Judge Advocate chief of military justice, was awarded this week's "Pick of the 'Lik" Oct. 9, here.

Duggan utilized his advocacy skills to stop the foreclosure process on an Airman's home which helped the member have peace of mind and continued focus on the mission. He oversaw the processing of 29 unfavorable information file reviews. Utilizing his NCOs to do the initial review, he increased the program's turnaround time by 10 days. By reducing delays, he helped unit commanders reinforce good order and discipline.

He also authored timely responses to two congressional-level military justice inquiries, securing the nation's trust in the Department of Defense. Duggan is the Wing Staff and Comptroller's booster club president and has been engaged with the unit's key spouse representatives to include them in squadron activities and utilize their skills to plan and execute group resiliency events.

39th Air Base Wing leadership recognizes Airmen who are handpicked by their unit leadership for demonstrating outstanding leadership and job performance abilities.
