The U.S. flags at Air Force installations across the world, including at the 39th Air Base Wing headquarters building, are lowered to half-staff today to honor retired Gen. John Pauly, who passed away from natural causes two-and-a-half months ago on Aug. 7, 2013, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The flag will return to full-staff tomorrow morning.
