E Street opens early

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- E Street opened Nov. 21 after more than three months of construction, here.

The street was finished ten days ahead of schedule and has been inspected by the 39th Air Base Wing Safety office.

Traffic can now travel via E Street to the main gate and school, eliminating the need for the detour through housing.

Motorists are reminded to observe posted speed limits and be mindful of the frequent pedestrian traffic in the school/main gate area.

In addition to plans to construct a sidewalk leading to the ATM machine, seeding and the maintenance of seeded areas will continue until the grass is fully grown.
