Pick of the 'Lik: Senior Airman Chase Hedrick, 39th ABW Published Dec. 4, 2013 By Staff Sgt. Eric Summers Jr. 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Senior Airman Chase Hedrick, 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs photojournalist, was awarded the "Pick of the Lik" for the week of Dec. 4, here. SrA Hedrick worked tirelessly over the past three weeks to overcome multiple limiting factors and successfully launch the Antiterrorism Force Protection channel. He showed capability beyond his grade and Air Force specialty code by utilizing his knowledge of technological systems and leveraging his connections with Airmen in the 39th Communications Squadron to accomplish his task. Furthermore, the end result of his efforts eliminated the need for personnel updating the channel to go to multiple locations on base. Additionally, Hedrick has taken on nearly double the responsibility expected of him as a photojournalist due to a manning shortage. He produced nearly a dozen PA products in the past three weeks, as well as served as the Rumor Control Center Mobile lead during two wing exercises. The 39th Air Base Wing leadership recognizes Airmen who are handpicked by their unit leadership for demonstrating outstanding leadership and job performance abilities.
