Pick of the 'Lik: Staff Sgt. Tabitha Jones, 39th CPTS

INCIRLIK AIR BASE,Turkey -- Staff Sgt. Tabitha Jones, 39th Comptroller Squadron financial services supervisor, was awarded the "Pick of the Lik" for the week of Dec. 18, here.

Jones filled the 39th CPTS NCO in charge of customer service position for several weeks while the NCOIC was on leave. Because of her leadership the customer service team has been making significant strides in reducing travel voucher rejects and ensuring Airmen are paid correctly and on time, the first time.

Jones also was selected as one of two exceptional performers from an Air Force Smart Operations for the 21st Century event focusing on wing in-processing.

She has also been working on another task specific AFSO21 event and has identified new ways to alleviate stressors for unaccompanied housing and newly-assigned first-term Airmen arriving here.

The 39th Air Base Wing leadership recognizes Airmen who are handpicked by their unit leadership for demonstrating outstanding leadership and job performance abilities.
