Pick of the 'Lik: SrA Tingley Published Jan. 30, 2014 By Airman 1st Class Nicole Sikorski 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Senior Airman Nathan Tingley, 39th Communications Squadron cyber transport systems technician, was awarded this week's "Pick of the 'Lik" Jan. 29, here. "He is by far one of the most dedicated Airmen in our unit," said Master Sgt. Kevin Stiff, 39th CS first sergeant. According to his peers, Tingley's positive attitude and skills have saved various base operations. His quick expertise and "go-get" mentality quickly resolved network outages impacting three sqaudrons' missions. Tingley was also responsible for the modernization of all seven of Incirlik's core Information Transfer Nodes providing critical bulk data routing throughout Incirlik and 39th Air Base Wing geographically separated units. Senior Airmen Tingley spent extended hours researching, configuring, and installing core equipment across the base improving network processing and routing capabilities. The 39th ABW leadership recognizes Airmen who are handpicked by their units for demonstrating outstanding leadership and job performance abilities.
