“39 Club” recognizes 42 to 47 years of service Published Feb. 12, 2014 By Senior Airman Chase Hedrick 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- On Feb. 4, 2014, the 39th Air Base Wing established a recognition program for one of the most select groups on Incirlik Air Base - local nationals within the wing who have contributed nearly four decades or more serving the U.S. Government and supporting the NATO alliance in Turkey. The "39 Club" currently consists of four dedicated and hardworking individuals with between 42 and 47 years of service on Incirlik Air Base. Their names are: Cemil Filiz, 728th Air Mobility Squadron - 42 years of service Ismail Gulhan, 39th Security Forces Squadron - 43 years of service Muhtar Gucum, 39th SFS - 47 years of service Necdet Uslu, 728th AMS - 45 years of service "These devoted individuals are not only long-standing members of the Air Force family, they provide a level of expertise and continuity that's indispensable to our mission," said Col. Craig Wills, 39th Air Base Wing commander. "What this team brings to the fight every day absolutely deserves to be recognized and we look forward to welcoming more dedicated Airmen to the 39 Club in the future."
