Team Incirlik receives CFC-O awards

Nine units from the 39th Air Base Wing received awards for their contributions to the 2013 Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas campaign during a ceremony held at the Incirlik Consolidated Club Complex, March 12, here.
 
The CFC-O is an annual fundraising event to give Department of Defense employees an opportunity to contribute to various charitable organizations throughout the world.

Awards were given based on the amount of money contributed compared to the number of people within the unit, as well as the percentage of people who to contributed.

The following is a list of the CFC-O awards presented:

Platinum for $200 per capita
39th Contracting Squadron
39th Force Support Squadron
39th Wing Staff Agencies

Gold for $120 per capita
39th Comptroller Squadron
Department of Defense Dependents Schools, Incirlik Unit School
39th Medical Support Squadron

Silver for $90 per capita
39th Medical Operations Squadron

Bronze for $60 per capita and more than 40 percent participation
39th Logistics Readiness Squadron
39th Security Forces Squadron


The 39th ABW had a 2013 monetary goal of $100,000 and a participation goal of 30 percent. The wing surpassed the monetary goal by almost $10,000 and it also exceeded the participation goal by having a 33 percent participation rate. The wing's efforts contributed to the overall 2013 CFC total of $21 million raised  for more than 4,000 different charities.
