ALS and 728th AMS paint schoolhouse Published March 26, 2014 By Senior Airman Nicole Sikorski 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Airmen enrolled in Airman Leadership School class 14-3 and volunteers from the 728th Air Mobility Squadron painted the ALS school house March 22, here. The 728th AMS and ALS Airmen painted and participated in Surety Saturday - a wing-wide event to promote mission readiness. ALS is a five-week course for senior airmen, and sometimes new staff sergeants, to learn to be effective frontline supervisors. Each class participates in one community activity and leaves behind one legacy project while enrolled in the course. As well as their service to the schoolhouse, class 14-3 also donated 360 doughnuts to U.S. Army 5-7 Air Defense Artillery Soldiers in Gaziantep, Turkey. The students also donated $200 to the Women's History Month committee and created a display for WHM at the Club Complex.
