Senior Airman Shelby Reynolds, 39th Comptroller Squadron cashier, was awarded this week's "Pick of the 'Lik" March 26, here.

After replacing the former cashier, Reynolds enhanced the check cashing approving procedures for deputy disbursing officers. He has also made it his priority to purge the system of check cashing agreements that date back to 2008.

On top of taking on cashier duties, he continues to serve as one of the wing's primary government travel card program managers.

Not only does Reynolds look out for the well being of his shop while on duty, but keeps a close eye on his wingmen outside of work.

When faced with a distressed Airman during off-duty hours, Reynolds not only talked to the person in need, but also called for assistance to ensure the safety and aid of the Airman--epitomizing the wingman concept.

The 39th ABW leadership recognizes Airmen who are handpicked by their units for demonstrating outstanding leadership and job performance abilities.
