INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Maj. Hardy Giles received command of the 39th Force Support Squadron during a change of command ceremony June 10, here.

Lt. Col. Bernadette Bowman, outgoing commander, will continue her Air Force career at Scott Air Force Base, Ill.

A Change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
