INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Lt. Col. Jeremy Hooper received command of the 39th Medical Support Squadron from Col. Jerome Wizda, 39th Medical Group commander, during a change of command July 8, here.

Lt. Col. Jonathan Richards, outgoing commander, will continue his Air Force career at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va.

A Change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
