INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Col. Craig Wills, 39th Air Base Wing commander and staff greeted Brig. Gen. Bekir Ercan VAN incoming 10th Tanker Base commander here, Oct 22.

VAN is serving his second tour at the 10th Tanker Base Command after being assigned here in 2011-2012. During his first tour at Incirlik Air Base, VAN served as chief of operations of the 10th Tanker Command. In 2012 he was promoted to the rank of brigadier general by the Supreme Military Council.

Incirlik Air Base is a Turkish Air Force installation run by the 10th TBC who partner with the 39th Air Base Wing during operations and exercises in Turkey.
