Question: I heard there used to be a dog park here, but the location was awful so it was hardly used. I talked to a few people that really like the idea of having a dog park.

We agree that a Dog Park would be a potential benefit to our community and has been an idea that we've considered numerous times.  We have added this to our list of projects to discuss at our next 39th Air Base Wing Facilities Utilization Board scheduled for March 17. The Facilities Utilization Board is the process by which space is assigned and project requirements are prioritized. Once we review the requirements for the dog park, we will be sure to post an update on your inquiry.
