Action Line #150318 Stolen window screens Published March 23, 2015 39th AIr Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Editor's note: The Action Line program allows members of Team Incirlik to voice concerns and receive a response relating to the concern while remaining anonymous. You can submit an action line by emailing it to: incirlik.actionline@us.af.mil. Question: My window screens were stolen recently. I filed a police report and found out this has been occurring for a while. I asked CE if I could get replacement screens and was told they do not have any. No Heat No Cool season is fast approaching and I am a firm believer in conserving where/when we can. Is there a plan in place to replace the window screens so all of us can participate in No heat No Cool without Getting carried away by mosquitos? Response: Thank you for filing a police report on this incident and ensuring this illegal activity was reported. The safety of our community is of extreme importance, and we share your concerns. The replacements of the stolen screens should be delivered by June and installed shortly thereafter. It is important to note that mosquito fogging is expected to start in May, and that will also help keep the mosquito population in check. If base residents witness illegal or suspicious activity, please immediately contact the Security Forces Base Defense Operations Center at 676-3200.
