Incirlik Airman nominated for AFA Chaplain Corps Award Published May 21, 2015 By Senior Airman Krystal Ardrey 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Maj. Eusebia Rios, 39th Air Base Wing deputy wing chaplain, was selected as the U.S. Air Forces Europe - Air Forces Africa nominee for the Air Force Association Chaplain Corps Award, here. The award is presented to the member of the United States Air Force Chaplain Corps with the most outstanding performance. According to Lt. Col. Paul Castillo, 39th ABW wing chaplain, Rios was chosen to be nominated because "she is an outstanding and dedicated chaplain who is worthy of recognition for her herculean efforts on behalf of the Incirlik community." Rios will compete against other MAJCOM nominees to be declared the Air Force-level winner. The winner of the AFA Chaplain Corps Award will be announced in July 2015, and awards will be presented at the 2015 Air and Space Conference and Technology Exposition this coming September.
