Have you ever noticed the encased yellow boxes with red push buttons on them in the family housing and wonder what they are? If so, you have stumbled upon a useful tool that could send security forces a notification about a breach or perhaps, even save someone's life.

These encased buttons are Anti-terrorism Force Protection sirens located along the fence line of and throughout Phantom and Falcon housing. The sirens are another security measure base personnel can use for immediate security assistance for incidents such as an extreme act of violence, witness unauthorized access to the base or an extreme on-base emergency. When notified of the alert, security forces personnel will respond within five minutes.

Every member of Team Incirlik is a sensor and plays an important role in base security and force protection. Therefore, all are encouraged to stay aware of their surroundings, use the sirens if needed and continue to report any suspicious objects, persons, vehicles, incidents and activities by making an Eagle Eyes report 24 hours a day to the Security Forces BDOC at DSN 676-3200 or commercial (322) 316-3200.
