Patriot Village DFAC opens to support OIR troops Published Dec. 2, 2015 By Airman 1st Class Cory W. Bush 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- The 39th Air Base Wing opened a new dining facility in Patriot Village Nov. 20, 2015, to serve service members deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, here. The dining facility, which cost roughly $700,000 took approximately two weeks to complete. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week and can feed up to 800 service members. According to Master Sgt. Stephanie Inscore, Patriot Village dining facility manager, the new facility was built to ease the strain on the Sultan's Inn caused by the increase of service members on base. "With the amount of troops currently deployed to Incirlik AB the current facility, which is used to feed [permanent party] personnel, become far too crowded with the many Airmen who are stationed, deployed or temporary traveling through" Inscore said. "Our goal with the opening of this new dining facility is to alleviate the long lines and overfilled seats at the Sultan Inn and make it easier for the troops deployed here to get food throughout the day." Tenants of Patriot Village will be served hot food similar to the meals served at the Sultan's Inn dining facility. The operating hours are: Breakfast: 4:15 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. Lunch: 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Dinner: 4:15 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. Midnight Meal: 10:30 p.m. - 1 a.m. Weekend Early Breakfast (Saturday/Sunday): 1 a.m.- 4:15 a.m. For more information on the dining facility, contact 676-1944.
