Did you know Incirlik has a shopping mall? Before
you go looking for the multi-level, parking space surrounded Mall of America, try looking at the Army/Air Force Exchange Service facilities.

For Team Incirlik, AAFES is in everything we do from renting DVDs and getting alterations done on our uniforms, to having electronics fixed and the Turkish novelties we buy. AAFES is more than the main exchange building where you could buy anything from diapers and furniture to fuel coupons and school lunches, it's a full-spectrum of services. It's in the fast food we eat, the beer and wine we drink and the movies we watch among other things. There are 22 shops in all.

AAFES has been serving the Incirlik community for decades and has contributed millions of dollars of profit back into the base community. According to its Web site, "AAFES operates more than 3,100 facilities worldwide, in more than 30 countries, five U.S. territories and 49 states." There are approximately 160 retail stores and 2,063 fast food restaurants as well as Shoppettes, Class Sixes, specialty stores and movie theaters on installations worldwide, including areas servicing Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom.

"The store is well known for its motto, 'we go where you go'," said Steve Hills, AAFES general manager. "AAFES is on the move at Incirlik to better assist the Incirlik community. AAFES is striving to provide better customer service to Incirlik. Our vision is to be your first choice."
