The chapel will host the Freedom in Christ Ministries "Discover the Treasure" conference Today and Saturday and the Christ-Centered Marriage retreat Thursday to Sept. 30 at the main chapel.

The events, which are free of charge and open to anyone or any couple, are difficult to arrange for a base like Incirlik because of our location, according to Chaplain (Capt.) James Taylor, senior Protestant chaplain.

"We are lucky to get them here and very excited about the ministry they are bringing to share with us," he added.

"The ministry has been a breath of fresh air for thousands in many countries," said Chaplain Taylor. "The 'Discover the Treasure' conference will focus on learning the truth about who attendees are as Christians. This will be an 'awakening' conference for those who feel, as Christians, they have not reached their full potential or need some renewal in their faith."

The Christ-Centered Marriage retreat offers couples a chance to learn how to establish faith based priorities in the marriage, break the cycles of abuse and balance responsibilities among other things. This retreat is taught by Vietnam Veteran helicopter pilot, Joe Wasmond and his wife Kathy.

Space is limited so to attend either event, those interested should call the chapel at 676-6441.
