Third quarter nonjudicial punishments

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey --  During the third quarter of the 2006 calendar year, the following nonjudicial punishments were given to members here. 

-- An airman first class from the 39th Medical Group received an Article 15 for violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 112A, for use of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and introduction of a controlled substance, for which the Airman received a reduction in rank to airman basic, 30 days restriction to base, and forfeiture of $636 per month for two months. 

-- A senior airman from the 39th Communications Squadron received an Article 15 for violation of the UCMJ, Article 112A, for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana (less than 30 grams), and use of a controlled substance, for which the Airman received a reduction in rank to airman basic, 60 days restriction to base, and forfeiture of $636 per month for two months. 

-- An airman first class from the 39th CS received an Article 15 for violation of the UCMJ, Article 112A, for wrongful use of marijuana, for which the Airman received a reduction in rank to airman basic, 30 days restriction to base, and 30 days extra duty. 

-- An airman from the 39th Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for violation of the UCMJ, Article 108, for damage to military property ($500 or less), for which the Airman received a reduction in rank to airman basic, 30 days restriction to base, a reprimand, and forfeiture of $636 per month for two months (suspended). 

-- An airman from 39th SFS received an Article 15 for violation of the UCMJ, Articles 86 and 95, for failure to go and escape from custody, for which the Airman received a reduction in rank to airman basic, 30 days restriction to base, a reprimand, and forfeiture of $636 per month for two months (suspended). 

-- A technical sergeant from 39th Comptrollers Squadron received an Article 15 for violation of the UCMJ, Article 92, for failure to obey a general order (misuse of government travel card), for which the Airman received a reduction in rank to staff sergeant (suspended), 30 days restriction to base, and a reprimand.
