In case you haven't heard, the 39th Services Squadron is one of two finalists USAFE-wide for the prestigious 2007 USAFE General Eugene L. Eubank Service Award, recognizing the Best Small Services Squadron, and the 2007 USAFE Food Excellence Award, recognizing the Best Dining Facility. Service's fierce competitors for 2007 are Aviano Air Base, Italy, and Lajes Field Air Base, Azores, in the Eubank and Food Excellence categories respectively.

The Headquarters USAFE Team will evaluate 39th SVS from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1 and the Sultan's Inn will be evaluated Nov. 2-3. The Eubank evaluation kicks off with an in-brief at 7:30 a.m. Monday at After Six in the Bowling Center. Col "Tip" Stinnette, 39th Air Base Wing commander, will open the in-brief a wing mission briefing followed by a 39th SVS brief. The Food Excellence evaluation in-brief is scheduled for 8 a.m. Nov. 2 at After Six in the Bowling Center.

We cordially invite all team Incirlik members to attend both in-briefs. Likewise, we urge commanders, first sergeants and agency chiefs to encourage your personnel to attend and help demonstrate to the USAFE Evaluation Team our spirit and support to all Team Incirlik programs.
