USAFE top cop visits Incirlik Published Jan. 9, 2007 By Senior Airman Patrice Clarke 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- The U.S. Air Forces in Europe's top cops visited Incirlik Jan. 8 on a two-day base tour. Col. Neil Radar, USAFE director of security forces, and Senior Master Sgt. Kevin Beaty, USAFE security forces manager, paid the 39th Security Forces Squadron a visit beginning with a breakfast at the Sultan's Inn with Airmen from the squadron. During the breakfast, Colonel Radar spoke to the Airmen about the upcoming security forces transformation, manning issues and deployments. "Deployments are a big issue for us," said Airman 1st Class Charise Scott, 39th SFS pass and registration clerk. "Colonel Radar explained the situation at higher headquarters and gave me a better idea about what they were doing for Air Force security forces members." Colonel Radar also stressed the importance of the security forces role in Incirlik's mission. "I applaud you all for the job you do here," he said, "just please don't let your guard down. You have an important mission here and every member must stay vigilant." Throughout his visit Colonel Radar will also be meeting with SFS noncommissioned officers and SNCOs and visiting various SFS posts around the base.
