Due to construction at the Airman and Family Readiness Center, tax assistance will be available at the Community Center, located in Building 970, from Feb. 5 to 15. IRS-trained volunteers will be at the Community Center Mondays through Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m. to help answer your questions as you prepare your taxes by using http://www.militaryonesource.com/skins/MOS/home.aspx and H&R TaxCut Basic.

Volunteers will also be available Tuesdays from 8 to 10 a.m. and Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m. for those who work irregular hours. Beginning Feb. 19, tax assistance will be offered for the remainder of the tax season at the Airman and Family Readiness Center at the above-listed times.

Of course, you do not need to visit the Community Center or wait to speak with a tax advisor to have your tax questions answered--instead, by logging onto www.militaryonesource.com, you can prepare your tax return at any time and receive around-the-clock assistance by calling 1-800-342-9647 or 1-800-730-3802.

If you have any questions, call Staff Sgt. Kassandra Tindal or Lieutenant McCammon at 676-6800.
