First quarter non-judicial punishments

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey --  During the first quarter of 2007, the following non-judicial punishments were completed on members at Incirlik:

A staff sergeant from the 728th Air Mobility Squadron received an Article 15 for violations of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice, Articles 95 and 134, for resisting apprehension and drunk/disorderly conduct. The sergeant was apprehended at the Incirlik Club Complex after becoming belligerent and refusing to leave as directed by security forces personnel. The sergeant received non-judicial punishment consisting of a suspended reduction in rank to senior airman, 45 days extra duty (15 of which were suspended), and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 39th Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for a violation of the UCMJ, Article 113, for misbehavior of a sentinel. Members of the senior airman's unit found him asleep on post. The senior airman received non-judicial punishment consisting of a reduction to airman first class and 45 days restriction to base.

A staff sergeant from the 39th Mission Support Squadron received an Article 15 for violations of Article 92, UCMJ, for failure to obey a lawful order. The sergeant wrongfully used a Government Travel Card for unauthorized uses to include various retail stores and restaurants. The sergeant received non-judicial punishment consisting of a suspended reduction to senior airman, 60 days restriction to base, suspended forfeitures of $1,031 per month for two months and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 39th Comptroller Squadron received an Article 15 for violations of Articles 91, 92 and 134, UCMJ, for disrespect toward a noncommissioned officer, failure to obey a lawful order, and drunk/disorderly. The airman first class was drunk and yelling as he walked onto base, did not follow instructions from the 39th SFS, and was disrespectful toward his first sergeant. The airman first class received non-judicial punishment consisting of a suspended reduction to airman, forfeiture of $729 and a reprimand.

An airman from the 39th SFS received an Article 15 for violations of Articles 86 and 134, UCMJ, for failure to go and drunkenness to the point of being incapacitated for the performance of duties. The airman reported late to arm up, smelled of alcohol and had a blood-alcohol content. The airman received non-judicial punishment consisting of forfeitures of $650 per month for two months, 45 days restriction to base and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 39th SFS received an Article 15 for a violation of Article 86, UCMJ, for failure to go. The airman first class received non-judicial punishment consisting of a reduction to airman.
