Action Line 70302 - Security Forces Speeding

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey --  Complaint: 
One thing I don't understand is that Incirlik is extremely strict about speeding on base, however, everyday I witness many security forces vehicles speeding, especially between the hours of 4-6 a.m. If they can't follow the rules why should everybody else?

Fair point and one that we are stressing with our Law Enforcement team. Next time you see a law enforcement vehicle speeding, please let us know the time, location, and license plate number if you can get it, and we'll address the driver directly. As you know, there are times when exercises are conducted or timed responses are required that would cause them to drive faster than normal. This is an issue we take very seriously for both the reason you outline as well as safety reasons. With the help of alert community members like you we can fix this problem.
