Tips for out-processing through the CSM Office Published May 8, 2007 By Master Sergeant Douglas Jarman 39th Communications Squadron Network Control Center chief INCIRLIK AIRBASE TURKEY -- Most of you probably know by now, but in case you hadn't heard ... Incirlik, and U.S. Air Forces in Europe as a whole, changed the way we account for our valuable computer assets. Gone are the days of a single or a few select individuals in each unit being assigned as the Equipment Custodians and maintaining accountability for all the squadron's computer equipment. Now we are all individually responsible for the computer assets that we use on a daily basis. Here are a few simple steps that should help you when it's time to out-process the 39th Communications Squadron Base Computer Systems Management office. 1. Have you signed a hand receipt for any computer equipment? (Yes, continue to step 2) (No, jump to step 4) 2. Locate all equipment that you have signed for and have that equipment accounted for on a new hand receipt by your replacement or, if they are unavailable, your immediate supervisor. Basically, you need to find someone that can be responsible for your equipment and take accountability for it. 3. Forward the new, completed/signed hand receipt to the CSM office either by scanning and e-mailing it to 39CS.ADPE@incirlik.af.mil or bring it to Bldg 470. Be sure that you type or print legibly on the hand receipt. 4. If you have not signed for any computer equipment on a hand receipt, then to out-process through the Computer Systems management office, please send an email to 39CS.ADPE@incirlik.af.mil with the subject line of: vMPF out-process, Rank, Last name. The 39th CS will clear you through vMPF within 48 hours of receiving your hand receipts or e-mail. If you have any questions or comments contact us by e-mail or call 676-8852.
