Juice bar opens at Fitness Center

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey --  Taste the rainbow. No, we're not talking about brightly colored candies. We're talking about the new juice bar at the fitness center which opened May 8.

Elma Armut, which translates to Pear Apple, is located downstairs next to the Fitness Center at the far end of the hall.

Mr. Richard Gooley, previous Incirlik fitness director, had the initial idea for the juice bar in 2004. Three years later, it is now open and offering a variety of juices.

There are many healthy and rejuvenating juice mixes targeting different homeopathic cures. One example is detox-luscious which contains pomegranate, orange juice and soy sprouts. It is an antioxidant mix said to help with depression and anemia.

There are several different kinds of mixes such as the functional mix, frozen mix, ice cream mix and dairy mix.

The Elma Armut hours of business are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. So, go taste the rainbow of fruity juice mix flavors and improve your fitness experience.
