With graduation day upon them, the seniors of Incirlik American High School talk about their future plans and what they will remember from their school days at the "Lik."

"Once I am finished with high school, I plan to go to a two-year community college. After that, I might think about going to a university. But, before all that, I'm going to take some time off school. Twelve years is a long time, so I'll just relax for a little while then get back to the books," said Christopher Jackson.

"I have lived in Turkey for about two years and my experiences here helped me realize why people say high school is the best time of your life. Through the hard times and good times my friends have been here for me. That's why I will never forget Turkey on my journey of life. Soon I will be living in Norway for eight months with my family. Sometime in 2008 I will be joining the Air Force. I leave you with one thought before I go, Turkey is what you make of it," said Joshua Jarman.

"After high school I plan on going to community college where I plan to major in English and do some traveling. Soon after I graduate, I might take a year off and join the Peace Corps or go straight to a four-year college and finish up my bachelors in creative writing. I also plan on becoming a free lancer by using my experience from traveling and the Peace Corps," said Emily Slotness.

"After graduation, I plan on staying here with my parents until February 2008. I will hopefully be working, either at the Commissary or at Army and Air Force Exchange Service and I plan on taking classes through the University of Maryland. Once we go back to the States, I hope to go to one of the universities in Texas; Texas Tech or the University of Texas in Austin. But I will just have to wait and see," said Amber McCorkle.

"After I graduate I plan to continue my education at Virginia State University to obtain my master's in Business Administration. Then I plan on transferring to Johnson and Wales University to obtain my culinary arts degree. I will start my own business and see what happens from there," said Duane Matthews II.

"My senior year has been exciting to say the least. With only twelve students backing up the senior class things were a little different. Not that it's over, I'm going to Florida where I will hopefully be attending the University of Florida. My major is still in question, but I'm greatly interested in marketing and art," said Cedell LaClair.

"I plan on attending Wesley College in Dover, Del., on a Presidential scholarship. I am also playing on the basketball team. I have lived in Turkey for almost nine years and I am looking forward to this exciting time in my life," said Kristopher Roeske.

"I will be attending Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Ind., on the Saint Mary's Academic Presidential Scholarship. I hope to study genetics and enter the field of medicine abroad. I plan to continue my hobbies of art and music during and after college," said Rachel Rinehart.

"After graduation I will be attending Cisco Junior College in Texas for two years and then will transfer to Texas State University. I plan on majoring in child care development, psychology, real estate, choreography, and interior design. Yes, that seems like a lot, but I have all the faith, strength and courage needed. For that I thank my parents and family and my loving boyfriend, Eddie," said Katrina Salviejo.

"After high school I will be traveling to North Carolina and attending Bennett College for women. I plan to major in biology and work toward earning my medical degree and becoming a pediatrician. I just want to thank everyone for their support and help. I love you all," said Tonisha Coburn.

"I'm going to college for theater arts and music," said Daniel Tackleson.

"After I graduate I plan on moving to Colorado with my brother and attending community college while getting a full time job. My experience this year has had its ups and downs, but they're all experiences that I will cherish forever," said Kary Reineke.
