Charles Simmons, 39th Air Base Wing command post officer in charge, receives his flu mist Oct. 30 at the wing conference room. It is recommended that personnel get their vaccinations during the months of October and November to give the immune system enough time to be prepared for the approaching winter weather. To get the vaccine, people can go to the clinic and walk up to the Immunizations window. The Immunization clinic is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m.; they are also open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. For more information, call Immunizations at 676-8254.
