Gate pass re-issue begins Feb. 11

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey --  The 39th Air Base Wing will begin its mass re-issue of all active duty, civilian and family gate passes. Processing for these passes will take place at the 39th Security Forces Squadron Pass and Registration office in Bldg. 833 from Feb. 11 through Feb. 27 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., with the office closing from noon until 1 p.m.

Incirlik members must bring copies of their North Atlantic Treaty Organization and permanent change of station orders, to include extension paperwork and a completed application. Additionally, active duty members must bring a copy of the front and back of their Common Access Card. Family members must also bring one copy of their passport picture page and red "giris" stamp page, one copy of their residency permit picture page and expiration page, and one copy of the front and back of the sponsor's CAC and family member's military identification card.

"Pass and Registration personnel will take photos, but will not be able to make copies of any required documents," said Master Sgt. Joel Davis, 39th SFS Noncommissioned officer in-charge of police services.

Gate passes will be processed for family members without the sponsor present as long as the family member has all required items.

For a complete list of requirements and an application, customers will need to log onto the Incirlik portal, click on base and tenant units, proceed to 39 SFS and click on Pass and Registration.

"Keep in mind, it takes approximately three to five duty days to process applications once they are turned in," Sergeant Davis explained. "All 2007 gate passes expire Monday, Mar 10."
