Action Line 80106 - Commissary Usage

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey --  Complaint:

In response to the action line item that was submitted concerning purchasing at the Commissary; today I witnessed two Turkish national employees of the commissary purchasing items that appeared to be for personal use. One of them purchased a box of Banquet pre-made patties, two sodas, and a bag of rolls. I did not think that this was allowed.



Response:

According to the SOFA and DECA, commissary employees are allowed to buy lunch items that can be consumed on the premises. They are not allowed to buy candy or gum. They must have their receipts signed off by management.
